Are you a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? Do you thrive in challenging environments and have a knack for managing difficult behaviours with empathy and professionalism? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our pool of growing SEN Clients, where we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all our students.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with students with special educational needs, particularly those with severe behaviour difficulties or severe learning disabilities.
  • Provide oneonone support and intervention to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions in collaboration with the SENCO and teaching staff.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Develop individualized behaviour plans and support strategies tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working within SEN schools, either at the primary or secondary level.
  • Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour and a proactive approach to behaviour management.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students who may have complex needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with students across different age groups and with varying levels of need.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

£80.00-£101.70 per day
