This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PR professional who is strategic, energetic and highly motivated to join a very successful global law firm in London.

Can you identify opportunities, sell in ideas and secure coverage across a variety of media? Do you have excellent stakeholder management and writing skills? Main Responsibilities:

Maintaining a strategic overview of media plans for core sectors and practices; refining and developing existing strategies; setting objectives and proposing targets and KPIs
Account managing PR for certain core sectors and practices directly; overseeing the activity and service provided by executives managing others
Building understanding of the activities of, and relationships with, key legal practitioners; proactively identify angles and opportunities to showcase their expertise; gain buy in for proposed approaches
Engaging journalists to pitch angles and proposals; preparing colleagues with advice and information to support them in engaging with the press; safeguarding them through the process and feeding back afterwards
Ensuring that the team monitors legal matters underway and nearing completion; preparing, editing and distributing press announcements to promote the firm's successes in a timely way; adapting content appropriately for our digital and internal channels
Managing the team's daily news monitoring, media agenda and forward features to identify opportunities for our lawyers to engage on topics of current interest, and in 'white space' areas where no one is currently commenting

agency side experience. Law firm/legal PR experience is not essential, but we will look for evidence of
understanding of commercial issues relevant to the legal sector and how to operate in partnership
environments.

We're looking for someone who will demonstrate professional maturity and the ability to inspire confidence and
working as part of a busy team and has a positive and collaborative mindset.

Beyond this, we're looking for:

Top quality writing and editorial skills; flawless command of English grammar and punctuation

Drive, initiative and proactivity
Organisational skills; the ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines
Enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity and a sense of humour
