Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Assistant, within the Student Support and Wellbeing team in the School of Medical Sciences.


You will provide administrative support to the team for matters relating to student support, including acting as the first point of contact.

You will play an active role in fostering a student-centred culture in all aspects of the student journey, including in relation to student record and student systems maintenance and all School based processes.

You will support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single Professional Services (PS) team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.

Anyone wishing to work in a busy and challenging environment is encouraged to apply. You will possess excellent organisational skills, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively.

You will be self-motivated, able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and be able to work independently and to show initiative and have the ability to adapt to constantly changing challenges and provide creative solutions.

You will be used to meeting deadlines using judgement to prioritise competing demands.

You will have the ability to work extremely accurately with a high volume of complex and detailed data and maintain excellent standards of accuracy under pressure.

In addition, you will have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
