Are you a talented
Temp Communications Team Assistant, or are you striving to be one? Can you demonstrate that you can assist the marketing and fundraising team on all administrative and communications tasks during a busy time? If so thenyou could be perfect for my client, an Health Charity in London.


This role is an immediate start and is temporary for 2 months with the possibility to extend and option to go temp to perm.

This role will be hybrid working with 2 days in the office near Liverpool Street Station, EC2M.

The Role:

Temp Communications Team Assistant, you will report to Senior Fundraising Editorial Manager


Specific tasks include:

  • To provide administrative and operational support to the team including formatting and scheduling health information packages.
  • Ensure quality standards are met when sharing information by finding, commissioning, and monitoring external reviewers.
  • Assist with any editorial tasks which may be online or print publishing.
  • Maintain and update the database to ensure contacts are up to date and their details are accurate.
  • Supporting the crossorganisational meetings, including minutetaking.
  • To produce accessible formats of information for the website including pdf, ebook, audio and foreign language materials.
  • To champion and enforce brand, house style and tone of voice is accurate on all public information.
  • To sensitively deal with personal data in accordance with the data protection requirements.

Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:

  • Admin skills are key, as is accuracy, a strong eye for detail.
  • Experience of recording and analysing data using Excel or similar programme.
  • Confident communicator, with good customer service skills.
  • Excellent recordkeeping and analytical skills.
  • Sound organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrable willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Initiative and a proactive attitude.
  • A collaborative team player.
