Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Synthesis Team Member to begin work for a market leader in the manufacture of synthetic diamonds.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Synthesis Team Member to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Setup and operation of equipment inline with standard operating procedures.
Incoming quality control of raw materials and inline quality control throughout process to Synthesis, ability to work with small tools, working to tight tolerances, small pieces and undertake volume manufacturing.
Coordinate measuring machine, seeding, plasma & carburising substrates as well as raw preparation and repreparation as required
Plan, organise, control and maintain Kanban system to ensure continued supply to Synthesis.
Provide updates to safe working procedures for continuous improvement of our processes
Updating digital training system
Ability to work with machinery, tight tolerances, small pieces and undertake volume manufacturing.
Experience with Quality control processes and data entry.
Keen on multiskilling and quick to adapt to new working environments.
Ability to operate and work within a busy production environment.
Good organisational skills.
PC and MS office skills.
Confidence to challenge how we currently do things and implement improvement actions in a controlled way.
