SEND Teaching Assistant Blackburn

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA) who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND) to start ASAP to work within a SEN classat a mainstream Primary School in Blackburn


The successful SEND TA / SEND LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's.

With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will supportpupils with their progress and attainment.

Experience supporting some of the following would be advantageous:

ADHD
Asperger Syndrome

Autism (ASD)

Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)

Challenging Behaviour

Dyslexia

Global Development Delay (GDD)

Hearing Impairment (HI)

Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)

Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)

Speech and Language Disorder

Severe learning difficulties (SLD)

This is a temporary - permanent role, based on performance. For this position you will be required to work five days a week from 08:30 - 15:30.
