Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Primary School Midday Supervisor on a permanent basis.

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during lunchtime hours.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the school community and contribute to the overall learning environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise students during lunchtime hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist with the organization and supervision of lunchtime activities, including sports and games.
  • Monitor students' behavior and enforce school rules and policies in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Escort students to and from the dining area, playground, and other designated areas.
  • Help students with basic needs, such as opening lunch containers and cleaning up spills.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise during lunchtime.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding any concerns or issues related to lunchtime supervision.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned duties.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in the well-being of children.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and any other required screenings.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£11.50-£13.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 10 per week
