Cardiff Airport is the national airport for Wales and an important part of the national transport infrastructure and key gateway to the UK for international visitors.

The airport is a major contributor to the Welsh economy, supporting 2,400 aviation-related jobs and typically driving over £246m of direct economic benefit to Wales annually.


There are 10 airlines currently making regular use of the airport's facilities, which include KLM, TUI, Aer Lingus (Emerald), Ryanair, Vueling, Eastern and Loganair.


The airport is expected to offer over 29 direct routes in 2023, as well as easy, one-stop global connections to over 160 cities available with KLM via its hub in Amsterdam".
