We have a great opportunity for an experienced
Ecosystem Lead - Non-Infra (Supply Chain Manager) to join our team delivering the
Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Framework with Anglian Water.

Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance.

"SPA" is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region.

The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project.

We are looking for someone that can be in Peterborough or site location twice a week. Once a month on a Tuesday we have a face to face team meeting in Peterborough.


About the Role

The Supply Chain Ecosystem Team was set up and based on Project 13 Principles of early supplier engagement, identifying package of work and creating multi supplier teams embedded within SPA to deliver value through reduced scope, innovative ideas as well as cost savings.


This key role is to lead and support two Non-Infra Ecosystem Managers to ensure the supply chain is in place, obtain quotations and work with our Commercial colleagues to place value for money orders to be delivered to site at the right time.


Due to the challenging timelines of the Non-Infra programme you will also be expected to complete your own procurement packages as well as managing and supporting your team.


Role Responsibilities
Day to day team management
Acting as a mentor and sounding board to your team to develop best commercial outcomes for SPA
Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-moving programme
Complete your own procurement tasks to provide additional resource to a challenging programme
Complete monthly reports for SPA Board and SLT
Upward management of stakeholders
Deputising for Head of Supply Chain Ecosystem
Establish a value driven supply chain
Category / procurement strategy development within a regulated or OJEU compliant environments
Mobilise and integrate suppliers
Manage supplier performance
Develop and implement commercial / reward models that drive desired behaviours and greater value
Develop supplier capabilities and behaviours


About You
Degree level education
Previous experience of working in a complex infrastructure project
Previous experience defining and establishing an ecosystem of supply chain partners that deliver maximum value
Working knowledge of NEC
Development of Procurement Strategy / Category Plans
Knowledge of EU Procurement Regs
Team management
