Due to the award of new projects a leading manufacturer of complex components has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Manager.

An experienced Maintenance professional you will lead the maintenance team providing guidance and implementing the maintenance scheduleand best practise while working hands on when the need arises.


Commutable from:
Warrington Chester, Runcorn, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlewich, St Helens, Salford, Stockport.

Salary:
£ 4 5 ,000 - £50 ,000 p.a. + benefits + pension

Suitable for:
Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Manager.

The Role


You will implement and monitor the maintenance schedule so preventative maintenance can take place and will ensure engineering best practice across the plant.

Key responsibilities

Plan & control the work for a team of Maintenance Engineers.

Develop, implement, and control the preventive maintenance plan.

Control budget expenditure.

OEE improvement.

Give technical direction and support to the Maintenance Engineers.

Develop and manage a TPM schedule.

Investigate equipment efficiencies and initiate improvements.

Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.

Actively involved with process improvements.

Management and development of personnel.

Manage projects on time and within budget.


An experienced Maintenance professional you must have proven experience of leading a team within a fast-paced complex engineering environment and a good understanding of mechanical & electrical maintenance and managing capex expenditure.

The successful individualwill have a good understanding of best practice and excellent people skills with the ability to get the best out of a team.
