Job Purpose
The efficient control and organisation of the warehouse area (internal and external), buildings, stock, procedures, security and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand Health and Safety policies and procedures, operate correctly with these procedures keeping Health and Safety at the forefront of everything we do.
- Understand and actively participate in hazard reporting.
- Pick stock for orders across the warehouse using the appropriate manual handling equipment.
- Monitor physical stock levels and advise the Customer Service and inventory teams on current, obsolete, and damaged goods and any other items within the warehouse.
- Manage the offloading of all supplier products in accordance with the company procedures regarding goods inward.
- Pick all goods required for delivery in a timely manner and highlight any obvious data entry errors.
- Manage the loading of all company vehicles in compliance with manual handling procedures.
- Ensure that all incoming stock is labelled, packed/wrapped, and shelved safely and securely in its allocated space in a timely manner.
- Provide and deal with all appropriate paperwork accurately on a daily basis particularly with goods returned to stock and damaged goods.
- Manage damaged stock and quarantined items in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Ensure goods inward delivery notes are accurate and comprehensive and signed.
- Maintain the highest level of Housekeeping "A place for everything and everything in its place".
- Ensure the efficient and timely completion of all FLT maintenance, servicing, and safety checks.
- Assist with stock checks and ensure that all goods are sorted, labelled, and counted prior to the stock take.
- Always maintain absolute security of the warehouse area and stock.
- Ensure that the area of the warehouse, internal rooms, and immediate area outside are swept and cleared of all litter waste and detritus at all times.
- Implement all FRC Group Health and Safety Policy, ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures relevant to the team are implemented and adhered to.
- Strong communication skills.
- Can work as part of a small team with large goals.
- The ability to work to targets with set KPIs.
- Have strong organisational skills.
Other Duties
Undertake any other work as directed by your Line Manager.
Decision Making Authority
You are required to clear any issues relating to policy with your Line Manager.
