Description

Main purpose of the role is to cover Reception Duties to include welcoming clients, dealing with queries, checking IAPTUS database to assist staff with patient queries.

The inputting of data into the IAPTus database. To answer incoming calls, dealing with queries, taking accurate messages or transferring them to the correct person.

To assist the Business Support team in copy and/or audio word processing, photocopying and other clerical functions for members of the team.


  • To answer internal and external telephone calls, pleasantly and helpfully, either redirect calls as required or take and record accurate messages with sufficient addition detail as to name, title, organisation, telephone number of caller, date and time of call.
  • Receive, distribute and despatch mail, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
  • To carry out typing, word processing of reports, documents and correspondence.
  • To input and extract computer data and reports in a manner which meets requirements for analysis.
  • To undertake photocopying duties as required.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining filing systems.
  • Carry out general office duties as appropriate, using equipment as provided.
  • Assist in receiving visitors and making appointments where necessary.
  • To carry out typing, word processing of reports, documents and correspondence.
  • To input and extract computer data and reports in a manner which meets requirements for analysis.
  • To assist the business support team in addressing any data quality issues
  • To undertake photocopying duties as required.

  • Welcoming patients in and out of the building
  • Checking appointments
  • Answering patient queries
  • Cancelling therapists clinics
  • General admin duties
