Step Teachers are exclusively working with a prestigious user Nursery based in the Wembley area to find a temporary Head of Centre.

This is to oversee the day-to-day running and ensure overall success and that the high standards of care and education areadhered to.

This nursery specialise in SEND within Early years.


Role:

  • Manage and lead a team of staff and lead by example
  • Professionalism when dealing with external organisations
  • Operating in line with the local council's overall vision and adhering to all child protection procedures are embedded throughout the centre
  • Ensuring financial solid systems are in place
  • Hosting and delivering a range of visitors to enrich the children and explicitly articulate the pedagogy, vision and philosophy of the centre
  • Deliver observations to assess the quality of teaching and learning and montoring all progress reports for the children
  • Attention to detail to ensure reports are accessible and accurate when needed for other relevant professionals

Requirements:


  • Experience as a Head of Centre is desirable
  • SEND experience
  • Early years framework experience
  • Extensive knowledge of child safeguarding policies
  • Experience in a senior leadership team in a school/education centre
  • QTS is desirable
