We are seeking an outstanding Community Children's Nurse to join our well-established Integrated Community Team that delivers acute, continuing and complex health care.

This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to meet the needs of children, young people and their families whilst working alongside Special School Nurses, our respite team from Firvale and Consultant Paediatricians.


The post holder will manage a caseload of children with complex health needs, including children eligible for continuing care across the Hampshire Hospitals footprint and provide specialist advice, education and support to health care professionals and patients.

You will act as a senior member of the team and be responsible for contributing to the on-going service development of the children's community nursing service.


We will offer you clinical supervision, regular appraisal and support in achieving your personal development plan as well as peer support from colleagues in similar roles.

Child health will ensure excellent development opportunities and a range of expertise for advice and support in your role. Secondment to courses, national, regional study days and networking events will be actively supported.
