**IT Technician- Based in Wellingborough,**
Salary £27k d.o.e, plus pension, health plan, 31 days annual leave
Our client, is seeking a creative and dynamic IT Technician to join their busy and successful team based in Wellingborough.
- Visual assistance, making no two days the same.
An additional IT Technician to join our IT team to offer 1st and 2nd stage IT support to our employees and maintain our IT infrastructure.
About the role:
- Offer 1st & 2nd line support for IT users, IT infrastructure & services
- Proactively assist the IT Director in the implementation of new IT services
- Promptly respond to IT support incidents
- Ensure all legal compliance for IT systems within the supported services scope
- Monitor IT systems/services & ensure their proper function and security
- Maximise the effectiveness of IT systems/services
- Proactively assist in the identification of existing or potential problems & recommend action to resolve
- Update relevant IT records & logs as per agreed processes
- Ensure all internal systems (CRM & ERP) and databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner
- To work as necessary in support of the customer facing Audio Visual team, including preparation and inbound receipt of equipment and some onsite installation and support.
- Participate in internal and external meetings where attendance is required
Essential Criteria:
- A proven track record in an IT support role
- Strong analytical & problemsolving skills
- Able to prioritise & work independently as required
- Indepth working knowledge of Microsoft Windows based systems, Microsoft Office 36
- Microsoft Server based systems (e.g. Active Directory, DHCP, etc.)
- VMWare or similar virtualised server environments
- Apple Mac based systems
- Working knowledge of Firewall & network switch administration
- IP telephony systems
- ERP systems
- CRM systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or SugarCRM
- Linux experience
- Experience setting up and supporting Audio Visual equipment
Your Qualifications:
- Relevant Microsoft certification in server and desktops desirable
- Relevant certification in IT systems and support
