We are a large property company based in Luton providing housing to local authorities across London and the home counties.

Due to our continued expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for a property maintenance officer to cover North London and surrounding areas permanently.

Working in our maintenance department, and alongside our property managers, you will ideally have 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or experience in an appropriate skill (e.g. Plumbing or Carpentry, electrics)


It is important that you have previous experience in a similar multi-trade role and it would be advantageous if you also have experience within the social housing sector.

It would also be preferable that you hold a qualification in a primary trade, such as an NVQ level 2 or City and Guilds.


This role is for a Maintenance Engineer who is competent to deliver high-quality planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and void properties.

You will be responsible for all general maintenance and upkeep duties to ensure a safe environment for our occupiers.

Due to the nature of the work that Rent Connect is involved in, additional criminal record checks may be required to carry out roles.

This will be clarified during the interview process.

  • Painting
  • Locks
  • Doors/Windows
  • Decorating
  • Basic plumbing repairs such as unblocking sinks/toilets, fixing taps & valves, dealing with leaks
  • Basic electrical repair
  • Investigate boiler issues
  • Fitting window restrictions
  • Light pest control treatments
  • Light cleaning duties
  • Small property clearance
  • General void property works
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for someone efficient, reliable, flexible, and able to work to deadlines. A Company van will be provided. And you must hold a valid UK driving licence. Own tools are preferred but not essential.


Salary:
£30,000.00 to £35, Profit share

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
