We are currently seeking a dedicated Welfare Officer with a strong emphasis on First Aid skills to join our team.


Position Overview:

Job Title:
School Welfare Officer (First Aid Focus)


Location:
Highams Park


Type:
Full-time, Long Term Sickness Cover


Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with experience


Responsibilities:

Provide immediate and effective First Aid assistance to students and staff in case of injuries or medical emergencies.

Maintain a well-stocked and organized First Aid room.

Educate students and staff on basic First Aid techniques and safety protocols.

Collaborate with the school nurse and healthcare professionals when necessary.

Monitor student health records and administer medication as prescribed.

Offer emotional support and guidance to students facing personal challenges.

Work closely with teachers and parents to develop and implement support plans.

Promote a culture of safety and well-being throughout the school community.


Qualifications:
Certified in First Aid and CPR.

Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathetic and compassionate approach to student well-being.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to school health and safety.

£128.00-£143.59 per day
