We are currently seeking a part-time Drama Teacher to work in a 'Good' School in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting until December 2023.

As a key member of the school's team, you will be responsible for all planning and marking required of a teacher, with paymentscaled to the main teaching pay scale.

This will be a four day per week booking, with the working days being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.


Our client school is part of a large academy trust that values staff progression and treatment, ensuring that you have the support you need to thrive in your role.

With a large onsite car park available, commuting to work has never been easier.


Duties:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons to students
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their progress and achievements
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the drama department and the school as a whole
  • Attend departmental and wholeschool meetings as required
  • Participate in extracurricular drama activities such as school productions and clubs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the drama curriculum

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama at the secondary school level
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Valid right to work in the UK
  • A DBS on the update service
  • A CV with full career history
