Do you have a passion for Payroll? Do you have experience working to deadlines? Distinct Recruitment are currently working with a company who have been at the centre of growth.

Since they started manufacturing their product this company have continued togrow and during this time they have invested in their staff and product to ensure they are growing in the right way.

We are looking for a Finance and Payroll Administrator to join this small, friendly finance team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring purchase invoices are processed accurately onto the purchase ledger. An average of invoices per month.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders, liaising with other departments over queries.
  • Performing reconciliations on purchase ledger.
  • Cover for the credit controller when on annual leave.
  • Responsible for taking customer deposits over the telephone.
  • Assist with processing weekly and monthly payroll and company pension scheme.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating ClockRite (Clocking in and Clocking out system).
  • Responsible for liaising with HR department for all new starters and leavers.
  • Assist with any adhoc projects, reports and tasks when required by the Finance Controller.
  • Preparing finance reports, including payment suppliers.

Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills including Excel.
  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification
  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiar with Sage 50 Cloud payroll and accounts package is preferred but not essential.
  • 1 to 2 years working in a Finance role is preferred but not essential.
