Job Summary
- Review of the TLS Curricula to ensure relevance and accuracy
- Collaborate with Team Leads and Supervisors of the most appropriate training curricula for each role type
- Train people in the correct procedures and processes for management of curricula
This role will be on a 3-month fixed term contract, and large amount of the tasks can be completed remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm with TLS Management, the TLS Organogram to use and who should be in/out of scope. Create and populate spreadsheet to capture this information.
- Using Mylearning TC admin level access privileges, create and run appropriate Mylearning Report(s) to extract details of the Curricula assigned to individuals.
- Create matrix database to provide overview of specific Curricula assigned to each individual, grouped according to information in TLS organogram.
- Using specific job roles / team information from TLS Organogram, analyse Curricula assigned within teams and highlight differences.
- Using Mylearning TC admin level access privileges, create and run appropriate Mylearning Report(s) to extract details of all Curricula contents.
- Analyse Curricula contents to identify training item overlaps. Create appropriate spreadsheet to view/analyse this information.
- Work with Team Leaders/Managers to review Curricula/Curricula contents/overlaps for suitability for their specific team asks. Refine/remove/create Curricula/Curricula contents accordingly.
- Summarise required Mylearning changes to accurately carry out Mylearning changes required.
- Review any changes for accuracy.
- Create 'userfriendly' spreadsheet(s) in order for TLS management to easily view/analyse current Curricula/Curricula contents.
- Train others in processes used so they can carry out regular refreshes of the data.
Qualifications/Personal Qualities
- MyLearning Training Coordinator Administrator Level access
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Biomedical sciences with biology/screening laboratory research experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in laboratory environment.
- Proven supervisory experience is essential and a good knowledge of lab procedures.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to motivate self and to lead and inspire others.
- Knowledge of SOP, best practice and instruction production.
- Proven organisational and management experience.
- Excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively.
- Problemsolving capabilities and ability to make clear decisions.
- Enthusiastic, dependable with and a clear attention to detail.
- Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the team.
- Computer literacy and able to communicate using various platforms.
- Experience working with health and safety procedures.
Physical/Mental Demands
The overall physical exertion of this position requires:
- Sit or stand 7-8 hours a day in office areas at provided PC/Laptop
- Work around in modern office arenas, undertaking several different tasks
- Use of personal protective equipment in laboratory
