Role - Assistant Accountant

Location - Aston, Birmingham

Term - Permanent

Office Based Role

Overview

Role Responsibilities will include

  • Day to Day responsibility for Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit Control, Payroll and Banking.
  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts to review stage.
  • Reports to Finance Operations Manager.
  • Cashflow Reports, Budgets, Costing Reports and Ad-Hoc reports for Management.
  • Support in Month End and Year end closure process.
  • Support in preparation of Annual Reports for Audit and Group.
  • Support in dealing with Annual Audit Queries
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field, although QBE will be considered.
  • Minimum 12 Years in Similar Position.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Keen eye for detail.
