Specialist Clinical Trials Pharmacist

Location:
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI)


Contract Type:
Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9-5pm (potentially 6pm)


Salary - £51,500 + Benefits - (pension, private health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development). **Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with great interpersonal skills to join and contribute to the development and growth of the pharmacy department at SCRIUK in the role of Clinical Trials Pharmacist. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a pharmacy clinical trials service. They will assist in the set-up and coordination of pharmacy services at SCRIUK.

The role
The department is purely for outpatients who are visiting to take part in cancer related clinical trials.

Working within this small team you will have the support of both the Pharmacy Manager and the Lead Pharmacist along with the Technicians to deliver a high quality level of service.


Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Pharmacy
  • Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Registration with GPhC
  • Minimum of 6 months experience specialising in Oncology (post Rotation)
  • Experience with Clinical Trials (desirable)
