About the role

We are currently seeking Associate Lecturers to teach on the Digital and Social Media Marketing module of our
BA (Hons) Marketing & Communications for Fashion degree.

The module exposes our students to innovative and visionary contemporary new media communications campaigns, used to generate sales and awareness for fashion retail.

It explores companies who are pushing marketing and promotion boundaries in the fields of digital and social media.

As an Associate Lecturer, you will plan, organise and deliver exceptional teaching activities for this module, ensuring every student receives the highest quality teaching, learning and feedback, successfully preparing them for roles in industry.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering industry relevant module content, in line with the course and wider programme objectives.

About you

You will have vast industry experience in Digital and Social Media Marketing.
You will have teaching experience, preferably in Higher Education.
You will have a good understanding of fashion marketing and integrated marketing communication strategies.
You will have strong people skills and the ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective development and delivery of the module.
You will have the ability to organise and plan work, set priorities, and respond to pressures, deadlines, and changes in schedules.
A good knowledge of the other specialist areas through teaching in Higher Education and/or working within the Fashion and Retail Industry is also desirable.

Hourly rate:
£42.00 per teaching hour, inclusive of preparation and associated pedagogic work. Non-teaching duties across provisions, including course development work, are paid at £23.85 per hour inclusive.
