Description
This is an investment headcount within a growth-oriented team. As an experienced Leveraged and Acquisition Finance originator, you will help develop and grow revenue and market share.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Increase SCB's profile in the region and up-tier market presence. Ensure we are consistently and effectively offering all relevant credit market solutions and related products to our clients and continually innovating to meet their evolving needs.
  • Manage origination of key transactions as well as internal and external marketing.
  • Lead LAF team in working with client teams and across products to identify and target transactions, crosssell and execute deals.
  • Oversee robust deal selection, conflict resolution and risk management to ensure the business is consistent with the strategy and risk appetite of the Bank.
  • Ensure rigorous and thorough due diligence standards are maintained in deal execution, in line with best industry practice, regulatory and internal requirement.
  • Employ, engage and retain high quality people, ensuring that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles and they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
  • Enforce a culture of risk management, control, and governance, and ensure direct reports comply with the risk management processes in place. This includes (but not limited to) compliance with countrylevel Portfolio Standards, Underwriting Standards, PPGs
  • Responsible for delivering 'effective governance' capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
  • Lead the function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles : Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Proven relevant experience in Leveraged Finance market / product
  • Strong interpersonal skills
