This is an exciting opportunity to help develop our investment climate action plan and work towards achieving our net zero target.

The focus will be on understanding and assessing the climate transition plans of the companies and funds that we invest inthrough engagement and analysis.

This isn't just about knowing the issues surrounding the climate change but being able to educate others.

About the Role
The remit of the role is wide-ranging and will involve working alongside our research teams, investment specialists and contributing across Quilter


The key elements include:

  • Contributing to and leading climate themed engagements & collaborations including policy engagement and informing our voting decisions
  • Contributing to our own net zero investment ambitions and responsibility for ongoing evaluation, monitoring and goal setting for our underlying investments
  • Understanding regulatory aspects of climate change, net zero commitments (including SBTi and NZAM) and TCFD as well as other relevant initiatives
  • Delivering internal and external training on climate change from an investment perspective but also more broadly the impact on society
  • Appreciation of the implications for investors of climate change and net zero commitments as well as developing our climate reporting (internal and external across Quilter Cheviot)
  • Written reports and presentations for external and internal audiences

You will be passionate about responsible investment and climate transition; be able to engage with different audiences and take ownership and responsibility whilst working collaboratively with colleagues.

A Masters in Climate Change or equivalent work experience will demonstrate your commitment and credentials.


You will have an effective communication style (both written and verbal), be solution-oriented and have a flexible approach to helping others deliver on team tasks.

You will also have strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and proactivelycollaborate with others.
