Description
If you thrive in a responsive, fast paced, varied role then look no further than our team leader role. What you'll be doing
No two days are the same in responsive repairs & voids, but as a team leader, you'll ultimately be responsible for the line management, 1:1 catch ups and for supporting our trade operatives who specialise in carpentry, plumbing and wet trades.
There's a focus on first time fix for response, working with the teams to remove any obstacles to make this achievable and supporting voids on to meet good turnaround times.
The team will call on you in our "refer to team leader" process to support with diagnosing repairs live in the moment, so you'll have experience of working in these areas.
You'll work in conjunction with the whole team including the planners to ensure the team have work planned in and are working in the most efficient and effective way to support our customers.
There'll also be collaborative working with our surveying team, our customers and external contractors to ensure the jobs get done, in a timely manner and to a high standard.
You'll support the contracts manager with complaints ensuring a focus on customer service always and keep our internal systems up-to-date with accurate information on agreed outcomes.
You'll also use our systems to run reports with a particular eye on our job bank, materials, PDA usage and FRA works as well so you'll need to be comfortable using IT.
About you
You'll have experience of supervising a team with the ability to support and coach remotely.
The role is very responsive, so you'll need to be resilient and be able to juggle a fluctuating workload with demanding priorities.
There's a heavy element of IT usage in the role, so being a confident user of Microsoft Office is essential.
