Description

We are looking for a passionate, skilled and knowledgeable Senior Nurse to provide strong leadership and management of our busy hospice at home team.


This post is a senior nursing role alongside of this role you will be responsible for the services provided by the Hospice and Specialist Palliative Care teams (SPCT) and will be an active member of the Hospice and SPCT Senior Management team, contributing to the management and development of all the hospice services.


In conjunction with the education lead you will be jointly responsible for the learning and development of all staff and students within the Hospice at Home service with a strong focus on the development of the practical requirements of delivering compassionate and competent care, in the community setting.

You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities that constantly reinforce the Trust values and beliefs.


We are a well-established acute Trust with a track record of high performance and provide a broad range of services for the populations served by Wiltshire, Dorset and West Hampshire CCG'S, alongside highly regarded specialist services with excellent clinical networks both locally and nationally.

We have about 470 beds and employ over 4,000 staff.

You will be responsible for patient assessment, planning of care, giving and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
