    Job introduction:Following an extensive Early Help review, Brighton and Hove City Council has developed Family Hubs as the delivery model for Early Help services across the city. Family Hubs will provide seamless accessible support to families with children aged with SEND). The Business Support Officer will provide support to the Family Hubs Service citywide.

Interview Date: 4th May


About the role:

To provide specific, tailored and responsive business support to the Family Hubs (Families, Children & Learning)


To be responsible for providing business support to enable the efficient and effective delivery of a range of early help services offered by Family Hubs.

This will include working with both internal and external partners across Brighton and Hove.


Key skills you can offer:

  • A flexible, adaptable approach to work with ability to multitask effectively according to business priorities
  • Ability to deal with confidential information tactfully and with discretion
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in business support duties including arranging meetings, and taking minutes which may be of a complex nature.
  • Competent in working with Outlook and Microsoft Office packages
  • Inputting and retrieval of data on service based IT system

Additional information:

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
