I am currently looking to recruit a Product Manager who will be responsible for identifying and delivering to market the optimum product assortment for a leading online distributor of electrical components.

About the job:

The Product Manager will be responsible for delivering the product strategy for the company via the selection of new products and then bringing them to market via a predominantly digital platform.

You will have ownership of the product lifecycle, includingproduct innovation and pricing as well as the identification of new suppliers, markets and technologies; all with the over-riding accountability for sales and margin against profit targets.

About the person:

To be considered for this position, you need to have experience in a Product Management role, preferably in the Electronics or Technical Components industry where you will have a proven track record of spotting trends and getting products market in an efficientmanner.

You will also be highly commercial, with a good understanding on financial levers including pricing, margin and profit.

In addition to this, you will have good people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence both internal and externalstakeholders.

It would be advantageous if you have worked in a B2B distribution environment that is heavily digitalised / online.
