In our UK Corporate Quality team for Natural Foods, we are looking for a Technical Assistent.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the technical team to maintain safety, quality and legality of a range of products within nākd, TREK, BEAR, Kiddylicious and Urban Fruit brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate of a food-related discipline or if you possess food-related qualifications and experience in a technical admin or specification role.

You will work in a team with the scope to grow and develop as our brands and business continue to grow.

The position will suit an energetic, passionate, self-motivated person who will help drive forwards technical standards within the Nākd, TREK, BEAR, Kiddylicious and Urban Fruit brands.

Functiebeschrijving:

You will be responsible for supporting the technical team to maintain the safety, quality and legality of a range of products within the nākd, TREK, BEAR, Kiddylicious and Urban Fruit brands, specifically:

Ensuring all certifications (Kosher, Halal, Non-GMO etc) are in place for the relevant products and production sites
Maintaining data sources such as product and ingredient testing schedules, supplier risk assessment data, certifications of products and suppliers
Sending samples for lab analysis as part of the product monitoring schedule and shelf life protocols and creating summaries of results
Troubleshooting any issues with sample registration and invoices for lab analysis and maintaining relationships with external partners (eg. Laboratories and certification bodies)
Creating technical KPI reports, identifying trends in data and communicating this to the technical teams
Ensuring accurate specifications for raw materials and finished products are kept and maintained
Supporting with adhoc technical data requests from marketing and commercial teams
Liaising with customer service teams and suppliers to support customer responses to complaints and investigations of nonconformances
Supporting the technical teams with gathering data for supplier visits and audit preparation
Supporting the organisation, setting up and summarising data from quality panels and shelf life testing of new and existing products

Profiel:

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects at the same time
High levels of computer proficiency, ideally with experience in building excel dashboards
Experience with lab portals and SAP would be beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of HACCP and food safety principles
Excellent attention to detail
Have good relationshipbuilding skills with internal and external stakeholders
Initiative to identify improvement opportunities and drive forward change
Be selfmotivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learn
