Are you a Middleweight Designer looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you relish the opportunity to create and bring brands to life, through visually compelling design solutions.

Have you a proven track record, preferably in packaging design, if so, Aceo Limited is a whisky and spirits company based in Livingston, who can offer exciting opportunities for a Middleweight Designer to join the team.

Working on the creation of company designs, products, packaging, marketing materials, literature, and brands, which include Aceo Sprits and Murray McDavid Whisky.

Key responsibilities:_

Conceptualise and create visually appealing graphics and design elements for various spirit brands, including packaging, marketing materials, brochures, posters, social media graphics, website assets, and more.
A keen eye for attention to detail in the creation and design of final artwork files for print and online reproduction.
Ensure consistency in brand identity and adhere to brand guidelines in all design work, helping to reinforce our company's visual identity.
Collaborate with the Senior Designer and wider team to understand project requirements and present ideas that meet objectives.
Advise and assist our customers with their bespoke design requirements.
Liaise and negotiate with printing and production companies on quality and price.
Create 3D visuals/models and renders of products to help facilitate in the design process.

Skills required:_

A degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and work experience will also be considered.
A creative mindset with initiative, proactiveness and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Design software proficiency, fully familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop.
Proficiency in creating final artwork files and the printing/production process.
Excellent interpersonal skills confidant and adaptable, able to work under pressure to design briefs and deadlines, with the ability to take feedback and adapt designs based on constructive criticism.
File management to be able to organise and maintain design files, ensuring a wellstructured and accessible library of digital assets.
Openness to learning new skills, stay informed about industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance design skills and knowledge.
Prepare and deliver presentations of design concepts and final deliverables to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills, with a strong understanding in English, both verbal and written.
The ability to problemsolve and negotiate effectively.

A passion for creating and delivering highquality, dynamic, design work.

Desirable:_

Product design experience.
Experience of working in the drinks industry.
A willingness to add copywriting in your designs.
Digital and website design (understanding of WordPress/other content managed website platforms.
Experienced in 3D Visualisation techniques.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
High level of artwork experience
Ideally including food/drink labels and packaging.
