Sports Pitches Caretaker

£22,369 - £24,496 per annum pro rata

Site based

20 hours per week

Permanent

Street Scene arelooking for somebody to join the team part-time as a general caretaker at the Anker Valley sports facility, to organise and maintain cleaning routines for the changing facilities and other facilities as required.

The position involves opening and securing the changing facilities as and when required on match days, using the appropriate resources and materials to undertake the cleaning of changing room floors, walls, toilets etc as well as assisting the business support team in the improvement of the booking procedures and conditions of hire of the sports pitches.

In addition to this, duties include liaising with the Operations Manager and Green Team Leader to ensure adequate grounds maintenance requirements are adhered to in relation to the sports pitches, reporting any defects, damage, or incidents/accidents to the relevant officer, liaising with league & club secretaries/treasurers etc as required to ensure correct allocation of matches to pitches and assisting the general public as appropriate with enquires.
