Toddler Room Leader

We have a rare opportunity to recruit externally for a Room Leader for our 2-3's room (Toddlers) This exciting opportunity is ideal for a qualified Early Years Practitioner with at least 2 years childcare experience to make the next step in their career, or an experienced room leader to gain a fresh challenge.

If you have vision and flare for all things Early Years you can have the freedom to shape this room and provide a safe, stimulating and friendly learning environment for the children with full support from the hands-on management team.

Angel Day Nursery is a homely, privately run, caring nursery providing nursery care for children aged 5 months to 5 years.

We pride ourselves on our partnership with parents and passion for creating an individual learning environment for each child.

Role:

Toddler Room Leader:
Level 3 Qualified
To work as part of the Senior Team to deliver high quality childcare.

The position will involve managing the Toddler Room:
- ensuring fun and exciting learning opportunities are planned,
- regular observations are made by all staff in the team,
- ensuring assessments and record keeping is up to date,
- identifying training needs for your team, reviewing and reflecting on practice with your team and the management team,

Carrying out Peer observations
Managing the space, layout and resources of the room,
Managing your team on a daily basis to ensure they are appropriately deployed and providing the best care and education

Level 3 Childcare Qualification, previous experience in an Early Years Setting, and up to date knowledge of the EYFS is essential.

Hours:
Up to 40 hours a week. Our standard hours are 37 hours over 4 days and overtime is available by agreement.

Training:

Appropriate training will be arranged for First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection, and we have more options for additional training in house, online and externally.

Pay Rate:
Up to £24,000/Annum, 5.6 weeks Holiday a year & Nest Pension Scheme
