Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced
Female Healthcare Assistant to support a young woman in Exeter. She was sadly involved in a road accident in which she sustained a high-level spinal cord injury resulting in quadriplegia. She now requires 24/7 care.
She enjoys spending time with her daughter, having her hair, make up and nails done. Enjoys watching reality tv and using her laptop. Dislikes routine being changed and preferably will only have female carers who around her age (33). Likes to go out and likes carers who can drive.
Our lovely service user lives in an adapted bungalow with a family member, providing 24-hour support, and her pet cat.
You will be working 1:1
Pay Rates:

£14.
50 p/hr Monday - Friday:
-
£17.
05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday:

£20.05 p/hr Bank Holidays
Shifts:
9am - 1pm, 7 Days Per Week Available
You need to be an experienced carer. It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent.
Training is paid for.
It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts.
Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.
Full mileage paid from home to this location inExeter up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.
