Job Description:

Turner & Townsend are seeking a Finance Assistant to support their delivery of works. The role sits within a fast-moving vibrant team that provide support to a range of projects and joint ventures.

The individual will be a self-starter, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial process delivery experience and excel capability.


MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • To carry out financial administration related to Turner & Townsend projects, in liaison with the Operations and Finance Manager, and Commission teams.
  • To deliver a 'Check, Review and Reconcile' process for all sales invoices
  • Promote and encourage positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, clients and suppliers.
  • Support the finance delivery through project, commercial and financial control.
  • Coordinate collation of timesheets, project deliverables and reporting to support invoicing.
  • Prepare invoicing, purchase orders, Subcontract agreements and payments, with clients and suppliers
  • Dealing firsthand with financial/project queries from the client and Suppliers
  • Administer and analyse large volumes of data with acute attention to detail.
  • Support Operations and Finance Manager with Month-End requirements, forecasting, internal and external audits and Adhoc tasks.

REPORTING
The Finance Assistant reports to the Regional Operations and Finance Manager within Turner & Townsend.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Sales invoices are produced to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and within deadlines
  • Month end data is analysed in detail and areas of potential risk are highlighted
  • Key information and data are accurately maintained.

Qualifications:


KEY EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Previous experience within an equivalent Finance role.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 36
  • UK Security Clearance must be obtained
