Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Resident Plumbing Engineer on behalf of one of the UK's leading building services companies.
Established over 40 years, their head office is based in London, and they also have several over offices across the nation.
They are a well-known company with hundreds of employees working for them. They work in a range of sectors including commercial, residential, health and transport.
This will be based at a building in Swindon who are an international company who design and manufacture electronic equipment.
Working Hours Monday - Friday 07:4- 16:45.
Responsibilities
- Response service fault diagnosis, repair and renewal works.
- Planned preventative maintenance works.
- Adhere to the out of hours call out Rota (as required).
- Correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure.
- Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
- Logbook auditing.
- Good customer interface skills.
- Working Health & Safety Practice.
Skills & Attributes
- Have a relevant plumbing qualification.
- Basic fabric maintenance skills.
- Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
- Good customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
- Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems
