My client, a large, commercially-minded London-based Housing Association, is recruiting for an Interim Development Finance Manager on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Key duties include:

Managing a small team of Management Accountants, supporting their growth and development and reviewing their management accounting output
Performing high level analysis of data related to capital projects, schemes under way, and sales of residential properties
Responding to queries from internal customers and supporting on management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts, and problem solving

This will be a role that would suit someone with a recent qualification and strong technical skills looking to develop in a managerial role as well as gain valuable experience in a niche area within finance.

Those with a practice background auditing Housing/Constructionmay be particularly suited to this role.

The office is in a convenient central London location and a hybrid model where staff are present once or twice per week is in place, alongside an excellent benefits package being on offer.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

Be a fully qualified accountant
Ideally have experience, awareness or understanding of commercial property building finance, Development Finance, scheme cash flows
Have experience working in social housing development, infrastructure projects, commercial, or residential/nonresidential property development.
