**Monday-Friday, term time only Catering Production Assistant required

  • Matthew Boulton College.**
    Employed by Aramark Catering.
£9.50 per hour. 25 hours per week
- equated pay, term time only.

We are currently recruiting a catering assistant to deliver exceptional service for our busy canteen at Matthew Boulton College.

The role is a permanent position, offered on a full time basis. Days of work are Monday-Friday, hours between 10am-3pm, with occasional overtime offered to cover holidays or staff absence.


You must have a have a passion for fresh food, an eye for detail and have a forward thinking attitude.

Experience in catering production is essential.

Relevant experience in a similar customer facing role is also desirable, as is personality, professionalism, innovative and a hard working persona.


  • Previous experience within the catering or retail sector.
  • Experience in high volume food production
  • Knowledge of allergen legislation
  • The ability to assist the manager in managing a busy operation.
  • Strong health and safety and food hygiene knowledge.
  • A team player who leads from the front.
  • Passionate about providing a first class service to all customers.
Experience in the services industry is essential, as is personality, professionalism and a hard working persona.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility. A full DBS disclosure will also be required, however this will be funded by Aramark.
