JOB SPECIFICATION
As Next Step Services' Business Administrator your main
duties are:

  • Preparing, reviewing, interpreting, analysing and approving a variety of data, information and reports, and making recommendations depending on findings.
  • Evaluating risks and giving advice for risk management procedures, processes, policies, and practices.
  • Contributing to and work effectively as part of a team and children services and other stake holders.
  • Promoting antidiscriminatory practice.
  • At all times, presenting a professional and caring image of Next Step Services and demonstrate behaviours that reflective our values.
  • Participating in an induction programme and attend ongoing inservice training.
  • Attending regular meetings such as team meetings and supervision meetings.
  • Respecting the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
  • Taking reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and all other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
  • Cooperating with the employer to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and the Health and Safety policies and procedures, not intentionally or recklessly interfere with, or misuse, anything provided in the interests of health, safety, or welfare, in pursuance of any of the relevant statutory provisions.
  • Any other appropriate duties as delegated by line manager.

Skills and Specifications
Knowledge of modern office procedures and processes.

Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
