Description

On behalf of our industry leading plastic injection moulding customer, Procure Recruitment Group are recruiting for Maintenance technician to join this thriving business on a permanent basis.


As part of the maintenance team you will provide maintenance support to the business including repairs to machinery, plant, building and other areas with directions from Maintenance Supervisor.


Main Duties:

  • To ensure the repair and appropriate maintenance of manufacturing machinery and ensure it is carried out within reasonable timescales which will minimise disruption to the efficiencies of the manufacturing targets
  • Fault finding and diagnostic experience regarding the electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and assessing root cause failure mode
  • To carry out preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery to ensure that Company production requirements are met
  • To ensure all duties are carried out within the scope of the Health and Safety at Work Act and also Company rules and procedures
  • Remain up to date with Electrical Regulation's qualifications BS EN 767
  • To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.

EXPERIENCE:
Essential_

  • Electrical apprenticeship and relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Good fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility due to shift work. Desirable
  • Time served within a high volume environment.
  • Knowledge of injection moulding machines
  • Knowledge of PLC & 6 Axis robot systems
