Description

This position begins on Monday 20th February, will be part-time every Monday and Tuesday and will be on ongoing role.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare and deliver Design & Technology lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess, monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective crosscurricular activities
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school's ongoing professional development

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Design & Technology (Textiles) to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • A deep understanding of the Design & Technology curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students
