Description

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging and busy environment to support the Women's Health specialities at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.


You will provide a professional and courteous "front of house" service for all staff and visitors utilising the facilities provided within Sharoe Green Unit, Royal Preston Hospital, acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that Trust Customer Service standards are adhered to.

Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information.

TOTALflexibility in working is required as you will be required to work a variety of early/ late shifts as the reception currently operates 08:00 - 20:00


These are challenging, yet exciting, times for our hospitals as we move forward into the new collaborative NHS world in which our roles and relationships will take greater prominence as the entire NHS recovers from the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.


You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.


You will assist with responding to external and internal telephone queries from staff, patients and others and referring to appropriate person.


Communicate with a range of staff, users and visitors to the Trust / Department utilizing a variety of communication methods including verbal, electronic and passing information in a format that is appropriate to the individual request.

Supporting with preparing clinics and ensure medical and nursing team are supported throughout the clinic.
