THE ROLE
Responsible for developing and transforming IAG Cargo's revenue management and pricing activities.

The role is responsible for completing the revenue management transformation plan, delivering associated benefits, and reviewing system and function capabilities with a view to further development.

The goal for the IAG Cargo group is to develop best in class Pricing & Revenue Management activities covering:


  • Network optimisation
  • Revenue Management & Pricing strategy;
  • Seasonal Inventory Planning and Demand & Yield Forecasting;
  • Capacity and Inventory management;
  • Pricing, Market and Inventory Optimisation;

DUTIES

  • Deliver against agreed transformation targets for development of revenue management and pricing systems and processes to result in a bestinclass revenue management and pricing function.
  • Work with suppliers to design and develop IAGC's revenue management and pricing systems.
  • ABO on transformation projects
  • Analyse performance and opportunities highlight areas of suboptimal performance vs other carriers in the market.
  • Drive exploitation of Revenue Management systems and techniques and introduce new ways of working and increase efficiencies in daytoday Revenue Management operations.
  • Own Revenue Management Systems (Optima / CNOS, Accelerate, COPS, AVCD, Net Opt, SPOT).
  • Work closely with and influence the wider group companies on baggage policy and procedures to protect IAGC contribution.
  • Provide strategic input to the IAGC Change agenda and initiatives.
  • Develop and agree pricing strategy with head of revenue management
  • Build expertise in cargo revenue management industry development. Share knowledge of latest developments.
  • Strong focus on quality of system outputs and relevance in markets
  • Seek opportunities for innovation within revenue management
  • Data monetisation provide clear strategic input to the use of new or existing data flows to inform decision making and further develop revenue management and pricing functions

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level with formal Revenue Management training an advantage

Essential Experience

  • Understands the commercial dynamics of the airfreight industry
  • Track record of delivery on multiple fronts in a fastmoving business
  • Commercial acumen able to spot and interpret market trends.
  • Excellent leadership capability and team player, with the ability to build, and contribute to, high performing teams and engendering genuine culture change
  • Excellent influencing capability in driving key decisions through to successful conclusions
  • Experience working with external partners including software suppliers
