Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Midwives to join our Triage Department at The Royal Oldham Hospital to deliver the best possible care in partnership with our women, birthing people and their families.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic midwives who are passionate about providing outpatient maternity care within out Triage Department to women birthing people and their families.

We have a fantastic team at Oldham, led by a group of senior staff that whilst being very different share a common belief in giving women and families a positive experience as they make their journey through maternity services.

We treat women and birthing people as individuals and empower them to make decisions about their care and supporting their choices.

Alongside that we want to create an environment where our staff feel valued and appreciated, given the time, the skills and the support to provide the care they aspire to.

We don't always get everything right but are keen to learn from our mistakes.

By building a culture that promotes openness and honesty, looks at improving processes and procedures rather than blaming individuals and encourages staff to ask "what could we have done better / differently? We are striving to be one of the safest maternity services in the country.

If you fancy a change, want to be part of something special then come and join us. Staff that are new to the organisation always comment on how welcome they have been made to feel. There are smiles everywhere you turn.

Staff who work in our Triage department are dedicated to developing a seamless service and implementing new initiatives to improve the flow and care for women birthing people and their families

We are currently implementing the Birmingham Symptom-Specific Obstetric Triage System (BSOTs) and looking to enhance our Triage team to ensure the smooth transition from the current model

The Triage team promote an environment to ensure staff feel supported and facilitate the development of all staff working within the team by creating a positive culture to enhance learning and development
