Overview:

We are looking to recruit a sessional tutor to deliver Silver Jewellery courses, in and around the High Wycombe Area.

About us:

At Buckinghamshire Adult Learning, we provide inclusive learning opportunities to promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential.

We are part of Buckinghamshire Council and the main provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in the county.

We are an Ofsted Grade 'Good' training provider and are proud of our continued quality of teaching and learning and the work and support we provide to many.

Our Apprenticeship & Work Based Learning team offer a range of Apprenticeships and other work-based learning opportunities across several industries, for those young people just starting their career or for those who are upskilling to develop future career prospects and personal development.

We offer qualifications in Business Administration, Customer Service, Accounting/Bookkeeping (AAT), Health and Social Care, Early Years, and Management; and usually run these in conjunction with the learner's employer.

If you have any skills that would make you a great fit to work with our Service, or if you have any hobbies or interests with the potential to teach, we would love to hear from you.

About the role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering weekly classes of 5-11 week courses, or monthly weekday workshops, that stretch and challenge learners knowledge and skills.

Hourly rate:
£ £31.36, depending on teaching qualifications held.

About you:

Applicants must hold an introductory teaching/training award such as City & Guilds PTLLS/Award in Education and Training (or willing to obtain one within 6 months of appointment).

It is essential that all our tutors can plan and deliver high quality sessions while maintaining good records of student progress.
