My Shropshire based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Part Time Supply Chain Administrator on a permanent basis.

Paying Salary £16,250 per annum (


FTE:
£25,025) depending on knowledge and experience

Hours - Part-time - 25 hours per week - 5 hours per day - 9.30am-2.30pm, Monday-Friday

23 days holiday (plus UK bank holiday, rising to 25 days holiday after five years' service)


Supply Chain Administrator duties:

Key responsibilities include:


o Order Summary Processing (using Winman (ERP Software) standard process,) to issue Subcon Orders and Purchase Orders during annual leave cover for the supply chain team

o Regular contact with all suppliers on order management and to ensure deliveries are received on time, to maintain Winman comments reflecting key supporting information

o To escalate to the Supply Chain Team Leader any deliveries that could lead to back orders or customer delays

o Tracking and liaising with Finance for Far East supplier payments. To ensure any financial issues are smoothly and quickly resolved

o Warehouse, to ensure the smooth flow of material into the business and the effective support and planning for Customer Orders and Manufacturing Orders. Non-Conformity Deliveries raised and closed in a timely manner.

o Undertake control of all non-production purchasing such as stationary, general purchases, packaging etc

o Tracking, negotiating, evaluating, and updating Freight and Haulage prices on a regular basis, ensuring we have a competitive offer

o Raise and process supplier returns and debit notes, as required

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Strong attention to detail and must have proven experience of working at a detailed level _(Essential)_
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, trouble shooting and strong team building skills (Essential)
  • Ability to work well under pressure _(Essential)_
  • Previous supply chain experience _(Desirable)_
