As an Apprentice Accounts Assistant in our Divisional team based at our Volkswagen Dealership in Birmingham you'll have the opportunity to shine with the support of the leadership team.

Apprentice Accounts Assistant

Employment Type:
Full-time, Apprenticeship


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and data entry
Prepare financial reports, invoices, and statements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes
Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies


Requirements:

Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
