Description
Altum are excited to be partnering with a historic UK retail brand in their search for a Group Accountant.

This is a key hire within the business, reporting into the Group Financial Controller, providing excellent exposure to the whole of the finance team.


What you'll be doing:


  • Preparation of the quarterly consolidation, reports & reviews
  • Assist with statutory reporting, including liaising with external auditors
  • Reporting and management of the dormant and holdings companies
  • Preparation and review of the yearly statutory financial statements
  • Oversee the completion and submission of the statistical returns
  • Assist with the reporting requirements on bank compliance
  • Draft technical guidance or policy updates as needed

What you'll have/be:


  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA)
  • Multi currency experience
  • Experience with consolidation systems
  • Good fundamental knowledge
