Payroll Lead/ Senior Payroll Officer | Nottinghamshire | £30,000 - £32,000

Macildowie is currently working exclusively with an educational organisation based in Nottingham who are seeking a Payroll Lead to bolster the Payroll function.

The organisation has a great purpose supporting schools across the nearby counties and you willplay a key part in this.

Please note prior public sector/ not for profit experience isn't a requirement, they are open to individuals of any sector background


Overview:


  • Paying £30,000£32,000 dependent on experience
  • 37 hours per week (unable to accommodate part time)
  • Hybrid working 2 days in the office, 3 from home can work more in the office if wanted
  • 20% employer pension contribution Local Government Pension Scheme
  • 39 days annual leave including bank holiday

Payroll Lead Requirements:


  • Good understanding of payroll with minimum 2 years' experience within a payroll specific role
  • Understanding and experience of starters and leavers, working with P45's and making the relevant deductions
  • Experience working with excel basic manipulation and formula
  • Any sector background within a medium or large sized organisation
