Management Accountant - Change

Salary:
Grade B - £37,694 - £45,092 (National Framework) or £42,863 - £50,261 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £529per annum for those working from home

Hours:
Full-time 37 hours per week

We're now looking for a Management Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis for a 23 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

What you will bring
To be considered as a Management Accountant, you will need:

  • To be a qualified accountant
  • Experience working with digital and capital programmes
  • Experience analysing business performance
  • Experience in the implementation of new finance systems or the improvement of business processes
  • IT proficiency with experience of key management accounting packages
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

What you'll be doing
As a Management Accountant, you will provide a high quality management accountancy service to our organisation.

Playing a leading role in supporting our Change Directorate, you will provide financial expertise and support to a range of budget holders.

You will also be responsible for providing accurate revenue and capital financial management information, including forecasts and reports.

Your role will also involve managing the economy of our activities in a business unit to identify potential cost savings and maximise the value for money obtained from our resources.


Additionally, you will:

  • Assist with developing management accounting frameworks and operational plans
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations and technology that may affect our delivery
  • Assist with development of the annual budget process and financial planning
  • Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators
  • Provide management accounting advice to managers across CQC
